Leshan Radio Company, Ltd.(LRC) is a well-known electronic company located in Sichuan province, the center area of China western development.  Head office and initial factories are in Leshan, a famous historic and cultural city. New factories and R&D centers are in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan Province. Since its establishment in 1971, LRC has dedicated half a century to the R&D and manufacturing of semiconductor devices and has grown into a group company with several subsidiary and JV companies

In 2009, Chengdu Advanced Power Semiconductor Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of LRC, was established in Chengdu, on the premise that the headquarters of LRC shall be based in Leshan, the company’s current profits and normal operation were maintained, and the employees of Leshan site would still stay in Leshan in the future.

Joint venture is not the purpose, it is actually a phased initiating strategy. Self-determination and technology innovation are the foundation and the future.
Now, after nearly 50 years of hard work, Leshan Radio Co., Ltd. has developed into a comprehensive electronic enterprise including several joint ventures represented by “Leshan-Phoenix Semiconductor”, a wholly-owned company “APS”, now the core industry of the group，and the other two branches.  LRC is the largest manufacturing base for discrete semiconductor devices in China.
LRC’s past successful experience shows that we must adhere to the sustainable development of the enterprise, accelerate the pace of new projects and the development of new products, eliminate the past achievements for a new start, and continue to promote the enterprise’s progress.

Chengdu Advanced Power Semiconductor Co., Ltd

Chengdu Advanced Power Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (APS) is a national high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, development, production and sales of semiconductor devices. APS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leshan Radio Co., Ltd., and it was registered and established in 2009. It is located in Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone, with a total investment of more than 1.6 billion yuan, covering an area of 166 acres with more than 3000 employees.

APS has the most advanced process engineering, machinery and equipment in the industry. The management team is hired from the top 500 companies in the industry and they have advanced professional technology and rich management experience. Leshan-Phoenix Semiconductor Co., Ltd (LPS) is a joint venture established by Leshan Radio Co., Ltd. and ON Semiconductor. Leshan-Phoenix Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has a total investment of more than $509 million and a total annual capacity of 55 billion units. SOT series, SC series, SOD series and other new surface mount device production lines have been built. The products are mainly used in electronic and electrical equipment, automotive industry, communication systems, broadband technology, computers and household appliances.
LPS is accelerating its development towards miniaturization and integration of products.
